Welcome to Our Shop

We’re The Social Goods Marketplace; a consciously-curated selection of home, body, and lifestyle products informed by values of sustainability, social justice, and self-care. We sell products from thoughtful, innovative, and intentional brands working to improve the world and support their communities, in ways big and small.

It’s an honor to introduce these brands and share these products with you. We hope that you’ll join our social media following, send us a message, or stop in and say hi. Community is our inspiration and we’re grateful you’ve found ours.

Our Values

SUSTAINABILITY

We believe that we have one planet Earth and that without major changes to our production and consumption habits our environment is in danger. We also believe small changes can make a big difference and in progress over perfection. We're starting by trying to eliminate as much plastic waste from our lives as possible.

SOCIAL JUSTICE

We believe that as human beings we have an obligation to one another: to take care of each other, to lift each other up, and to create a future where we are all valued and cared for. We also believe that making a conscious effort to support businesses owned by marginalized communities has the potential to shift economic power.

SELF-CARE

We believe that in order to show up in meaningful ways for the planet and each other, we have to prioritize taking care of ourselves. We believe in taking breaks, logging off, and setting boundaries. Our hope is to provide products that support you in slowing down and taking care.

Meet Morgan

Hi, I’m Morgan, the face behind The Social Goods Marketplace. St. Louis, MO is my hometown and it’s really special that I get to support so many local brands and bring incredible products from around the country and across the world to my community. I spent 3 years in New York City where I studied Social Entrepreneurship and Globalization Studies before moving to Ghana where I studied global supply chains and continued my education by working with small, socially-minded brands.

Giving gifts is my love language so helping you all find something special in the shop truly brings me joy. So does sitting outside in the sun reading a book at my local coffee shop, traveling to new cities, and my mini doodle Ted.

This shop is a constant work in progress, just like me, and I look forward to all the growth and transformation to come. Thanks for being here.

Xo, Morgan
